Graphic Designer
Overview
Start Proud is recruiting a volunteer Graphic Designer who will partner closely with our Marketing and Creative leadership teams to execute assets across channels, refine our brand identity, and help drive engagement.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing Director to translate strategy into cohesive designs and create compelling content
Design digital assets: email templates, web banners or logos, social media graphics, and campaign visuals
Produce occasional print materials: postcards, brochures, signage, and event collateral
Prepare and package files for internal use, vendor handoff, or print production
Conceptualize the creative development of integrated campaigns across paid, earned and owned platforms, along with the creative director.
Requirements
Proven experience in graphic design and branding - at least one (1) to two (2) years' experience
Educational background in graphic design
Strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print work
Familiarity with file prep for print and digital channels
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Alignment with Start Proud’s values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Technical Skills
Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
Experienced in designing for Microsoft 365 suite
Experience with using Figma or similar software for quick design iterations and maintaining design systems
Experience with using Webflow or similar software for websites.
Commitment
~5-10 hours per month
Mandatory attendance at team meetings
